TURQUOISE!

Not sure if my obsession with turquoise will ever end! It's just one of those colors that I am always drawn to.  When I walk into a store I seem to immediately gravitate to anything turquoise.
And as a wall color...what a statement!
Even Carrie Bradshaw likes it! It must be chic!
But sometimes painting an entire room can seem a bit daring even for me...just by incorporating an accessory here and there you can still achieve a bold statement.

These Turquoise Crackle Canisters from Z Gallerie are really impressive! (I've seen them in person) The finish is beautiful and they're very substantial!
My mom got these foo dogs for me.  They tend to be pretty pricey but I happen to know you can usually find them on ebay for a steal!
I love the colors in this Mark Rothco Print
Put a white mat around it with a gold frame...Would be stunning!

I actually have this Turquoise Lamp ...It has moved from room to room over the years and looks amazing where ever I put it!
A table setting in this Crackle Dinnerware would make for quite the dinner party!

A Tribute To My Heritage...

THE GREEK KEY!
A classic, timeless design...

I got these greek key glasses to add to my extensive collection of glassware. Definitely not an neccesity but they are just sooo impressive! And who can resist the price??
Any greek key bedding seems like such a luxury! So sophisticated!  And makes you feel like you're sleeping in a high end hotel!
How amazing is this console? I saw it on one of my antiquing jaunts. If only it wasn't so $$... It would have the perfect home behind my chocolate velvet sofa!
Love love love this hollywood regency style bench! But not in love with the price tag...
For a fraction of the price check out this Greek Key Stool:
Just apply a gold rubbed finish and fabulous new fabric and you've got yourself pretty amazing vanity stool!
Hmmm...I think I may just add that to my "To Do" list!

Itchin' for a New Kitchen...

There is never a lack of projects going on around my house but my latest one is to transform my kitchen...nothing major...just painting the cabinets, new hardware, glass inserts in some cabinets and possibly a new back splash... Like I said, not TOO  involved but should do the trick of making a huge improvement!

Here's my inspiration...

Amazing!
Hopefully one day I'll have the carrara marble countertops and ebony hardwood floors too!!
Until then, I'll keep you posted on the progress of my modest renovation...

Lucite My Love

Nothing like a little bit of Lucite to add some glamour to a room!

The Louis Ghost Chair works with any decor.  Love the modern take on a classic chair!

These nesting tables make a great statement for a small price!
I got this vintage lucite coffee table off ebay...

...had a cushion made with fabulous David Hicks fabrics and Ta-Dah!
I've got myself an amazing new bench!

(Even Gigi loves it!)

Well, Here Goes Nothing...!

I never considered myself much of a "blogger"...Until recently I didn't even know what that meant.  I don't even care to write really... But I do enjoy sharing design and style ideas, inspiration, and great finds...and of course anything chic (hence the "Tres Chic")! I also like to keep all those ideas and inspiration organized and in one place...so this is kind of like killing two birds with one stone, right?! Hey, who knows what else might come out it!
So I guess I will just jump right in!
